A.) "If my kid or child has lice, can they go back to school? "

The answer is "Yes". Because of the Washington State law that was past in 2017 stating that "Lice Is Not Contagious", students with lice and nits can stay in school and are legally not allowed to be sent home. With this law parents do not have to notify the school that their child has lice, unless there parents wants to.

B.) "How common is lice in schools?"

The answer is "Very common". Head lice are common in schools, affecting millions of children in the United States each year. One study estimates that 1 in 10 children will get head lice at some point during their school years.

C.) "Can lice make you sick?"

The answer is "No, lice can not make you sick." Head lice are not a sign of poor hygiene or low social status, and they do not carry or spread diseases. However, scratching from head lice can cause small, red bumps on the scalp or neck that may become infected with bacteria.

What To Do If Your Child Has Lice:

Unfortunately, lice have become immune to over the counter lice products. Over the counter lice treatments often don't work because many head lice populations have developed resistance to the active ingredients in these products, meaning the chemicals no longer effectively kill the lice; this resistance can vary across different regions, and repeated use of the same type of treatment can exacerbate the issue.

The first thing your lice technician will do is to thoroughly examine every member of your household using our unique "Hair Lice Check" examination to determine who has lice and who does not.

Should any lice be detected, your Lice Technician will discuss our next suggested step, which is our complete Organic Lice Treatment Procedure. With your approval, our Lice Technician will immediately began our unique, all natural, Organic lice treatment removal process. This can take 45 min. or longer per person depending on length of hair or lice infestation. Your lice technician will spend whatever time is necessary to eliminate all lice and regardless of the time it takes to do this, the price is still the same.

When finished, your Lice Technician will explain how to "Self Care" for yourself, your home, or any place you think there may be a vulnerability to you or your family. This is to help prevent any lice reinfection. These details may be viewed on our "Self Care" page.

To assure that our professional Lice Technicians have successfully completed total lice elimination, our Organic Lice Treatment Procedure includes, at no additional cost, a return visit to your home. The Lice Technician will later return to your home within our 14-day grace period if lice are found on the client's head, (depending upon the client's schedule) during regular business hours. During this check-up visit, if your lice technician were to discover that you and your family happen to have gotten reinfected with lice from either your child's school, neighbors, friends, or other family members outside of the home within 14-days after treatment, our Technician may repeat our Organic Treatment Procedure process again, depending on the circumstances. Each repeat treatment decision will be made on an individual basis.
